differences in LOTR settings?

Hi!
Since its quite hard to reach valinor on LOTR, I changed the settings for each multiball to extra easy...but I cant se any differences when I play.
I still have to get the same amount of accurate hits to finish each multiball.
Instead of playing a good round for about 40min it would be great to do the same in 30 min or so...or to be honest, it seems Im not good enough to reach Valinor even after 1 year as a homepin.
What do the eaier settings do?
