Player two display is out so I see the entire display replacements but this machine isn't in great condition so don't really want to drop $200 on a display. Is it REALLY hard to replace the display? I've done some soldering so I'm fairly handy.

Secondly, anyone have a display for sale?

Difficult? Not too bad, if you can find a display with no nipple, or a
display with the nipple in the same location as factory.

If the nipple is in a different location, then you get to drill a new
hole in the board, and re-route any traces you cut with jumper wires.

It's almost a guarantee that as soon as you do a beautiful job replacing
the display, another one will fail.

LOL... thanks John. Time to look around for a used display. I figure if I screw it up I'm buying a pinscore replacement anyhow.

I replaced one of the displays on mine several years ago - it was fairly easy. Others are correct though, that the other displays are just as old...

Thanks... it looks like player 1 display was recently replaced. I guess if I can find a cheap enough display it would be worth it.
