Dear Pinball Group...

Since I didn't know any of Mark's pinball pals except for Kevin and
since Mark has always been the soul of curtesy and good edicate I
assumed he'd expressed his gratitude via Kevin. Mea Culpa for not
having checked. Let me assure you Mark who pre-stroke was never too
open with his emotions was infinitely more moved by the gesture of
"The Group" than by the fruits of your generosity. So much so that he
mentioned it often during his long "incarceration." I take full blame
for not having followed through with our thank-you and am the
proverbial ass who assumed. Forgive our delay and rest assured that
it made quite an impression. Mark continues to improve weekly and is
in excellent spirits far more than pre-stroke. And it's not a
lobotomized version of Mark either. Again many thanks for your
contributions both material and spiritual as they were greatly
appreciated.

Fondly,
Jo Ann.

I don't think that I have seen a better written note of apology in a
long time, especially one that is so unwarranted, but thanks for
letting us know Mark is doing better. I don't know Mark personally
but I've had the pleasure of reading his posts on rgp from time to
time and have benefitted from his many contributions to this
community. I would love to see him posting here again, I hope, soon.

Also, many special thanks to Joe Grenuk for organizing and
implementing the rgp effort for Mark so proficiently, masterfully, and
modestly. There are some really class act people in this community,
just sayin.

You're most welcome Joe, you really did a terrific job there, just
sayin.

Also, when I say 'I don't know Mark personally but I've had the
pleasure of reading his posts on rgp from time to time and have
benefitted from his many contributions to this community, I'm not just
blowing hot air.

One of the things that Mark did (to impress me the most) was his
creation of the replacement clock board for TZ.

http://www.pinballpal.com/ultimate/

I looked at it his board from different angles and perspectives many
times, at length, and marveled how it had taken into consideration
everything that was a real or a potential problem with the original
part. With no disrespect intended to Rottendog (I have a temporary
one in my TZ now), I haven't lost all hope yet that Mark, one of these
days, hopefully sooner than later, will have the good health and the
desire to go into production with these boards and that I'll be one of
his first customers in this undertaking. I'll install it like a badge
of honor on my TZ, whatever the price, you hear Mark?
