The 12 volt motor on this assembly is not being made by Pinball Resource....at
least at this time...Steve says he is considering making it...but it doesn't
help now!! Steve doesn't think this motor is used anywhere else...as all the
motors for the domes have been 24 volts....with the exception of Rescue 911 and
Lethal Weapon 3 pins that use a complete assembly that is not available anymore
(As a matter of fact, we purchased magnetic base red and blue domes brand new
from auto parts stores for about $61 each and installed them on Rescue 911 and
LW3--they look great...requires doing some drilling obviously, as the magnetic
base is useless....but we were for now trying to keep the Getaway with the
original red dome instead of the "teardrop" style of the new domes....
If anyone has a spare working motor they would want to sell, email me!! (Or
better, if anyone knows who's making them, GREAT!!! Thanks again!

I don't know of a motor available, but I did read this on Clay's WPC
guide:

Problem: On Getaway, the rotating beacon on the top of the backbox is
missing.

Answer: HAPP Controls makes a great replacement for this 12 volt beacon
and lamp. Call HAPP at 888-289-4277 (BUY-HAPP) and order part number 95-
0115-10UC. Price is right around $40. This is a red beacon light
assembly with a chrome ring and outer mounting plate. The HAPP motor is
DC, and the game's driver board supplies AC voltage. To convert the
voltage to DC, use a 35 amp 200 volt bridge rectifier (as used on the
driver board). Connect the two wires coming off the small beacon board
to the AC leads of the bridge. Connect the two wires coming off the
beacon to the "+" and "-" leads of the bridge.

It looks like a closer match than the rounded domes.

For some reason my news server isn't showing all the messages, so I don't
know what the original message said... but...

I'm also on the lookout for one. Grainger do look like they might have
something (it has to be 12 VDC and roughly 100 RPM to be close to the
original)... but the solution might end up very expensive. Some of their
motors are $100 USD+

On the other hand, it would depend what was actually wrong with your motor.
Is it just the motor that has the problem, or is the gear box? With mine,
it's just the motor (it's been hacked before by someone, and the wires have
snapped off inside it).

Zenith.
