Hi,

I have allmost done sanding my playfield...

I'm not a good artist, so I'm hesitating to paint directly on the
playfield, so it is a good idea to paint on a plastic transparent sheet
and then use a glue in spray to fix it on the playfield and then use some
vernish for wooden floor like crystal finish, like 4 coats?

Also What kind of paint I should use Latex, Oil, Acrylique?

thanks

Reg

Hi Reg,
Here is a link to a Clay's web site that will walk you through touching
up your playfield. http://www.marvin3m.com/restore/index2.htm#pf1 You
can't go wrong with his advice. In the past on palyfield art work I have
made a stencil from the ordinal artwork and overlaid it where I needed
it. Then I just filled it in like paint by the numbers. then on top
after it dried iI did the small detailing and outlines freehand. Color
matching is the key to make it look good. finish up with "Varathane
Crystal Clear Waterborne Diamond Wood Finish". You can find it in a
spray can or by the quart at Manard's.

Have fun, Dave
