A friend of mine and I decided to expand upon an idea originally from Ryan
on aussiearcade.
Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyGdAvbWhiI
Each figure on POTD lights up in sympathy with one of the four green lights.
If the green light for a roll over switch flashes for 250 souls so will the
corressponding figure.
If the green light is fully on for 500 souls so will the corresponding
figure.
It lights up a dark region of the playfield nicely.
Figures are on a thin piece of perspex so the figures are completely removal
with no damage done.
That looks great. I also like where you positioned them.
How did yu wire it, at the light socket?
nice!! I was hoping someone would do this the first time I saw those
translucent figs, and your implementation looks great! :)
I'm pretty sure you could run the led wires along the bottom left of
the PotD to a figure placed here. It would also "line up" better with
the lower left switch, so that each figure would better correspond to
one of the 4 switches (upper/lower and left/right).

Hey DrMoze, I've seen you talk about the museum putty a couple of
times. Can you buy that stuff at normal retailers or do you need to
get it at a special store or on-line? I see Amazon has some, but
would prefer to buy local if possible.
Looks great Yee! Where did you find the 4th AotD figure? I've only
seen three.

I love light mods...but those figures remind me of things from my
grandmother's Christmas tree in the early 60's. I just can't get into
them.

We tried a figure close to the tower in the Path itself but found that
occassionally the ball would hang up there.
Also by getting the figure outside the Path, it became almost a 50/50 shot
which lane the ball would roll into.
The 4th figure came from another box. Each set has only 3 figures but if
you want 4 figures, you've got no choice.
This is a great mod as the lit figures become part of the game unlike the
smaller figurines which you notice only when you're not playing the game.
Cheers

I bought some at the Container Store. Other housewares stores may also
have it stocked.
