That's a lot of work you don't really need to do. Plus, you would not
have all the associated metal trim and hardware. There are a number of
crappy Bally SS games from that era that can typically be had for a
reasonable price. Games like Super Sonic and Black Jack come to mind.
Then there are plenty of games from that era that got played to death
and the playfields are in bad shape and probably won't justify a $600
reproduction. Check the For Sale ads on Mr. Pinball Classifieds for
something in your area. Or post your location and maybe someone has a
"project" to sell.
