I recently purchased a replacement CV slingshot assembly (NOS). Great
price, quick delivery...no complaints. But it surprised me to see what
I call 'single blade microswitches' on the assembly (one blade
triggers a small plastic switch...sorta like what you would see on a
ramp switch but this blade is straight) rather than what I'm used to
leaf switch wise(one blade is compressed to contact another blade to
close the connection). When did Williams make this change? Just
curious.

Every one I've seen ( and in manual ) have leaf blade points, sounds like
yours were changed with something else. LTG :)

Yeah...that's what is confusing me....all the wiring and solder joints
look original though. No big deal either way of course. Was just
curious.

Yup, cashball topper part.
You can use it you just have to change out the micros to leaf type and
use the CV pigtail and wiring configuration.
You also need the AE 26-1200 coil if you have the one with the AE
23-800 coil.
3 came on the toppers, 1 with the 1200, 2 with the 800.
