Okay, maybe this is long established knowledge on here, but I'm kinda
new to the hobby and just had a really fantastic interaction with
Cliffy of http://www.passionforpinball.com/protectors.htm

I recently purchased my first pinball machine (Whirlwind!!!) and have
been playing the bjesus out of it. I managed to break the left ramp
the other day and consequently emailed Cliffy about purchasing one of
his protectors. He got back to me in very short order and before the
night was over he already had my part in the mail. That was Friday
night. Monday the part arrives at my door. Once the protector was
installed, it pretty much disappeared. Amazingly enough, it's hard to
tell it's even there, both in terms of aesthetics and playability. It
fit like a glove, and now my fiancee and I are back playing pinball
after a weekend pinball drought. She even scored a personal best! :)

Cliffy:
1) Timeliness
2) Quality Craftsmanship
3) Superior Customer Service

It's hard to beat that combo. I have no relation to the guy, but I
really just wanted to give a public "Good Guy Alert" for Cliffy and

They are called ramp "protectors" not ramp damage concealers, and now
you have learned your lesson. :oP

Ohh, and yes, Cliffy is the man!

Agreed. You don't get your name as connected to pinball as Cliffy is
for nothing

Cliffy is also my hero.

Even for European customers he pulls out all the stops.

He's not frightened to send something overseas and doesn't try to make
a small fortune from the shipping.

If it fits in a small envelope, then he'll use a small envelope...

Now you definitely can't say that about other US suppliers to the
European market.

Oh and he's also been known to use coloured posts as padding in his
envelopes!

A real top man!

Thanks Cliffy!
