Marcospec has them, with the correct cutout piece for the 8 ball area,
too. (All the repro sets have the wrong piece there.)

the repro set that BAA is carrying currently has all the correct
pieces even if the picture still shows the incorrect pieces

Just to let everybody know, the repro sets' clears (made by us and other
makers in the past) followed the original Bally pieces.

Many forget there is an entirely different release of EBD from Midway,
which has the different return lanes clears + snakey shaped 8 ball area
clear.

An alternate 3-piece clears set has been out there for the alternative
(Midway) version of EBD. Of course, the original Bally clears were the
ones followed for the reproductions by all parties, as they are the most
common. We would have included both styles, had there been room on the
mastersheet. But alas, only room for one. So we went with Bally and
not Midway :(

all the original PF's I've bought populated for EBD all had the snaky
one.... and they were all original 1981 releases (discrete lamps instead
of boards)

You should have included both ;)

The set used to create the CPR set was itself a repro set and not a
real NOS Bally set. I have personally seen them.

I believe Mike Pacak made the original mistake with the 3 clears and
that has propogated this error for many years with people copying his
set (search old posts here) His original master set was possibly a pre-
production set (or post production made with the wrong films) as he
has ALOT of proto and never released stuff that he got directly from
Bally and Williams, or he just made a mistake or both.

Or maybe you have this backwards and the non-snaky set was from the
midway version. I also had an 81 Bally that came with the Snaky piece
and the Screw Holes in the PF from my snaky piece (with 3 post holes)
did not match up on the curved repro piece (with 4 post holes). But in
either case the inlane plastics were definitely wrong as both the
Bally and Midway (and the prototypes with alphanumeric displays all
have the wider screw hole spacing.)

The set I got from BAA was not CPR and it included the correct inlanes
and both versions of the 8-bal clear.(I tried everywhere first to find
the CPR set first as I like your guys quality on the cut, colors,
registration and thickness, but it is NLA anywhere, sounds like it's
time for a second CPR run (with the corrected versions of course :)

Ah. That would explain the poor result in both detail and colour. I
was more than a bit disappointed when I unpacked my new CPR set. A
second run should be completely redone if you ask me:

In this comparison you can clearly see the loss in details and the
colour deviations.

I'm talking about the dark brown colour that would need more a redish
colour. And not only are the details blurred, some whole white details
are missing from this left slingshot.
