Joe, I am very interested in this machine, but lockdown holes drive me
crazy. Can you explain the drill holes with the hasp on the front if
it is HUO. ?

Thanks Bill

That is the way it came from the factory. Google for more info.

didn't cv's have those from the factory?

Yes CV's did. And in the manual they are in there in the parts list with
numbers. LTG :)

dude! that looks just like mine! :-)

hey, a little pointer, get someone to create a seperate website for
you with tons of high res pics, you will have a better chance of
getting top dollar.

good luck with the auction.

bill,

they came from the factory like this. isn't it ironic that you are
interested in this machine but the hasp bar brackets drive you crazy?
;-)

good luck bidding! :-)

You may also want to change the listing title to HUO, not HOU.

who can say, but at least the high bidder won't get flamed for
STEALING that cv for such a reasonable price ;-)

Just out of curiousity, does anyone know if it is still a violation of eBay
policy to charge buyers to use paypal payments or was that changed? I know
you can't get seller's protection coverage from PP if you do but does it
violate eBay rules? I had an auction stopped once for that and now I do not
take PP for high ticket items as a result since the fees are simply too high
but if that has been altered I would gladly take it if the buyer paid.

It's still a violation. You can't charge the buyer extra for using Paypal.

Do not hesitate to buy from Joe. I traded with Joe before and wouldn't
hesitate to deal with him again. He is very honest and a great asset to our
hobby.

The only thing that would hold down in that area would be the poor pics.
Last Ebay HUO CV about a year ago got over 5.

Is that a violation of PayPal or a legal violation?

I know that many computer retail stores got in trouble (early 90's) for
higher costs when using credit cards. So instead they set the price to the
credit price and gave "cash discounts" instead. :)

Interesting since I too have a HUO CV but mine did not come with the
lockdown bar or hasp. it has the 4 black bolts but there was never a
lockdown bar or hasp put on the game. the cabinet isn't indented
anywhere either as though one was put on and then it was removed.
perhaps it was removed by the distributor?

They were on the game in the crate. If yours was missing and you didn't
uncrate it, the distributor took it off to use on other games. LTG :)

Why do people like to put "I doubt if you'll find another in this
condition"..? CV went on close-out so there are more than a few HUO
machines out there. Sorry... it's a pet peeve.

Did you have to drill into the backbox to mount the sidepieces?

Or did you use velcro, etc...?

Paypal violation. Since they own Paypal, I'm sure this was intentional.

I had a few auctions pulled recently by them when I stated I would only
take Paypal if the buyer agreed to pay the fees.
