They receive 3 months of free rent to get them started, as part of an
Arts Initiative. There were 140 applications to receive free space in
selected locations in Seattle and only 10 were selected. SPM was one
of the deserving ten so either there is a pinhead on the selection
committee or they saw that this was an unusual thing to do as compared
to having yet one more restaurant or overpriced art gallery, etc.
Yay for the Storefronts Seattle Initiative, and yay for the Seattle
Pinball Museum.
