I finally got my funhouse last week and just noticed that the entire
lampshade assembly is missing. I did think it looked dark near rudy,
but I had forgotten about that assembly. There is no bulb, wires,
nothing. Anyone know if I can buy this whole assembly or do I need to
buy a socket and fabricate something? Also does anyone know where the
wires come from under the playfield? If I knew I might be able to at
east find the wires tucked underneath somewhere.
If I can't get the lampshade I would guess I could use a spotlight
like those used on roadshow, but I just thought it would be nice to
make it look like it was intended to.

Thanks in advance and feel free to let me know about any other cool
need-to-know mods/upgrades for this game while I still have the new
game buzz!

I haven't seen the original-type lampshade for sale, but the cut-out
"funhouse" logo ones are pretty available. I can take some photos of the
lamp holder etc. tomorrow if you'd like. I'm sure it wouldn't be
difficult to make. I can also give you the details about where the wires go.

I'd appreciate it. I have searched around for the logo shades but
cannot find any for sale. Thanks for any help you can give!

I actually found a connector hanging by a yellow and orange wire right
beneath the hole in the playfield to the right of where the lamp
should be. Looks like the plastic cracked on the ramp where the
lampshade was mounted, so someone removed the whole assembly and
unplugged it from beneath.

See my recent post on the lampshade. There's a contact in it that will
hook you up. Mine is on order, awaiting it in the mail.

Better yet ... the direct info on the seller:

"Brian his email is: Yelo...@sbcglobal.net
His name is David Kvasnicka and they were $14.99 E. + $2.95 S&H for
any
quantity."

Good luck,

My Funhouse has the same problem, ie. cracked hole in ramp where the
lampshade mounted. Let me know if you figure out a fix. Thanks!

Mine too ... I muscled the mount when reassembling the hood and it
buckled and cracked the ramp. I figured I'd just neatly plastic weld
some support at the bottom and add a washer to the top. I haven't had
much experience with plastic welding, but I figure it should work
nicely.
