Well put. As and old dude and and old timer here, I'm sorry you had to
read this shit. People seem to think it's open season on any kind of
trolling as long as you label it off topic. It isn't and this thread
is fucking lame. If the original poster was a real man he'd take this
shit where it belongs:
Posting shit like this on a pinball group is bush league. Take it
where it belongs Tony. Man up.
The only good thing that comes out of these threads is you get to see
who all the idiots are. Thanks for coming out of the closet guys. Nice
work. Idiot book updated.

I don't see how it was throwing it in anyones face, it was during an
interview, it's the MEDIA that's throwing it in everyone's faces. It's
not like he put up signs in his restaurants that said 'I hate gay
people', in fact I do not know one true Christian person (there are a
lot of fakes out there) that actually hates anyone. The media and the
left are trying to spin this into gay bashing, when in fact it's simple
belief.
The bigger issue are these aholes in government who are trying to get
votes by saying 'They can't build in my city' and breaking the first
amendment, and people actually believe them, and agree with
them...that's the really sad part. How well would an ban on gay
bookstores go over if someone were to do that? Like a freakin' lead
balloon.

Wade through? What, wade through one thread? C'mon this isn't even
accurate, just don't look at it for cripes sake. It's like anything
else, don't like what you're watching, turn the channel.

I would love to see where a city has DENIED a Chick-Fil-A from opening up. A Mayor stating that a business isn't welcome is very different from actually banning them from opening a restaurant. The Mayor' who have spoken up have specifically stated they are not banning CFA from opening up in their cities. So please, tell us, which mayor/city are you actually referencing here?

They stated that they should be, the mayor of new york, chicago, and
california all have stated that they should be banned from opening and
that they would agree with it. Of course most of them have backpedaled
after the obvious stupid ass comments.

Also, are you saying it's ok to just SAY those things, but not really
important until some type of actual action is taken? So then it should
be OK for the owner of Chic-fil-a to say what he wants, he's never said
gay people are not allowed in their restaurants. We have to end this, I
have no money in the game, I'm not gay and I'm not a Christian, but I
can still say a guy has the right to say what he wants without being
ripped to shreds. Government on the other hand, they really need to
stay out of the whole gay/straight/religion issue...it's a real bad move
for them to get involved with that. It's always been a state issue,
states should decide as a separation of government what their citizens
want, and if your gay and your state doesn't allow gay marriage, then
you can move to a state where it does. It's all about liberty...

Link doesn't work. Probably was taken down because it was full of misinformation. Again, None of these mayors are outright banning the franchise from opening in their cities. Prove me wrong. Just more over exaggeration of the facts which doesn't do anything but hide the truth about what was said.

Yes, I am saying it is OK for them to say those things. I also NEVER said it wasn’t OK for the owner of Chick-Fil-A to voice his opinion as well. I did say I wouldn’t eat at Chick-Fil-A, but I don’t even like it to begin with. I also said that marriage should be between 2 people, not just a man and a women. And if you’re telling me marriage is ONLY between a man and a woman and that there is no Christian values causing you to say that you are just lying to yourself and everyone here. So what if 2 guys get married and call it a marriage? Or the state calls it a marriage? Unless you’re religious and it goes against your values, I can’t see why anyone would argue against it.

1) I think you are confusing Chicago with Boston.
2) I definitely disagree with those tactics. Shame on Chicago. They also did it to WalMart last year.
A gay dollar bill looks exactly like a heterosexual dollar bill. They
spend the same.
If someone showed up to your pinball sale and was offering you cash
for one of your games you were selling, and he was there with another
guy - would you even bother to ask if he was gay and turn him away?
SERIOUSLY? would you? That sure doesn't sound very christian-like if
you said yes. Lead by example and all that...
Here's the problem, you're forcing your belief on me as I should have to
have the same view as you. What im saying is that we are free to
believe what we want and should be able to tell people and not be
ostracized for it. The government needs to get out of the states
jurisdiction.
Anyway, I'm back to pinball, thanks for the discussion.

So lets see what's going on here. A business owner supports
traditional marriage and all of the sudden he is intolerant towards
gays. I say...get over it. You gays don't have control over what 87%
of the rest of the country thinks. He didn't state that he 'hates'
gays, he just supports traditional marriage as the norm as between one
man and one woman. I believe that gays should be thankful there are
'straights' around or there wouldn't be any gays around.
"...he's never said gay people are not allowed in their restaurants."
But he did infer that if a tornado or hurricane destroyed his restaurant, it's because of gay equality. That's the kind of psychotic mindset he has, like Jerry Falwell.
"...but I can still say a guy has the right to say what he wants without being
ripped to shreds."
You can say it, but it's not correct. We have the right to say anything we want, but others have the right to rip us to shreds or choose not to do business with us based on our comments. That's how free speech works. Two-way street, double-edged blade, etc.
"Government on the other hand, they really need to stay out of the whole gay/straight/religion issue...it's a real bad move
for them to get involved with that. It's always been a state issue,..."
There are two gigantic holes in this statement. The first is that you seem to believe that "gevernment" and "state" aren't the same thing. They are both "government".
The second is that slavery, women's rights and civil rights were "state issues". The government shoulda butted out, huh?
Teekee is a TROLL. That's the thing to take away from this thread.
