Hello.

This is a probably a dumb question, but I was looking for 6x5/8 and
6x1/2 unslotted hex head washer wood screws usually found in 90's
Williams cabinets. ie, like the screws that mount the leg bracket,
grounding straps, etc.

I've searched my local hardware store that pretty much has everything,
and the only thing I could find were sheet metal screws. Sheet metal
screws seem to have a tighter thread pattern.

I've checked places like Marco etc, but didn't seem to find anything
that matched.

I thought I finally found them at: http://fairwayfasteners.com/display.asp?id=379

And then three weeks later, I received the total different screws and
they told me the website was wrong.

Am I over analyzing this? Ha.

Thanks,
-- Jason

They're listed under the "Hardware" tab on the home page, in case that
link doesn't take you right there. For some reason unslotted screws
like that are hard to find in the normal places.

Thank you very much!! I'll be placing an order now.

I know I check out pinrestore but their screws explictly said sheet
metal.

Sheet Metal Screws, Hex Head
These are used all over the underside of the playfield to hold
assemblies on. These are unslotted #6 screws made of stainless steel.
Four common lengths, 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4". The 5/8" and 3/4"
sizes are used only where there is no danger of the screw popping up
through the playfield! Usually to hold a thick bracket or part to the
playfield. Package of 8.
