Half time report on the May Day Tournament.
6 players qualified and are returning later today to play off in the main
tournament.
On Saturday the mini events, singles at 4pm and doubles at 8pm went good.
The doubles was scheduled after the Famous Dave's Lil' Pig dinners were
finished. The food might have been a little much, a lot of players left
before the doubles started. The doubles then turned into the Joe Esposito
effin A tournament. Joe is Italian and looks like a reject from the Sopranos
cast. It didn't matter if you were in the tournament or not, you got stuck
in. Bryan Kelly may have competed in his first pinball tournament.
A full write up will be on Pinball News at a later date.
I do want to thank those that helped make it happen. No particular order,
and if I left anybody out, please let me know, it wasn't intentional.

And it only seems fitting it should be Joes "f'in A" tournament.
We were going to call it Bryans "f'in A" tournament but we all know
Joe swears way more than I do. F'IN A!!!!! :-)

At the 2009 May Day Tournament http://www.maydaytourney.com/ the doubles
tournament on Saturday will be replaced with the Joe Esposito Tournament.
While the Joe Esposito Tournament wasn't on the 2008 schedule, it did happen
and those that played in it, had a great time.
Intense negotiations were underway this evening and rights to name and
likeness were secured for future tournament use.
We made Joe an offer he couldn't refuse, to which he pledged all his support
for the event. LTG :)
Joe told me to fugetaboutit :-)
That's great news, Lloyd. :-)
