Is it supposed to be the case that Jericho supercedes the 50 MIL Do or
Die shot? I drained before I got Iron Monger down, so I have no idea
if the 50MIL shot would even be available after it went down.
Anybody know about this rule?
If you light them all up on one ball and don't have a multiball
running, Do or Die should be lit at the center spinner. Can't imagine
a horrible setting that would allow Jericho to supersede DoD. I've
played versions 1.4 and 1.5 on likely default settings. Haven't seen
that.

Well, I just finished Whiplash, keeping a ball trapped on the right
flipper and playing the other ball. Whiplash was the last character
light. At the same time the Mark 6 light was flashing. So after I
was down to one ball, I hit the center shot and Jericho started. I was
confused as to why that happened-I actually expected Do or Die to
happen first and THEN Jericho to start, since Do or Die is a single
hurry-up shot.
The game was 1.4 factory settings.
Hi Jeff,
Sorry to hijack the thread.
Phish- Is there a SW version 1.5 for IM? I am running 1.4 currently,
and I just downloaded the latest version from Stern, just to check,
and it is still 1.4.
Thanks,
Mark
Version 1.5?? I don't see that anywhere. ??

I believe so. I'll double check when I get a chance. Thing is, the
game is otherwise a train wreck. I'm honestly not sure if I should
trust anything on this game. It has two huge problems. First, the
right coin slot gives 5 games for a quarter. So the game is getting
hammered. Even the youngest teenagers are getting in on it. The second
problem is that the level assembly somehow got installed out of
kilter. It appears to be installed properly, but with the game at
close to factory 6.5 degrees, the bubble is real high, making it
appear to be real steep. So, the regulars have completely dropped the
back legs and raised the front ones all the way. The game is now the
floatiest IM ever. Totally unplayable. Ball times are almost LOTR-
like.
So I don't expect the game to last long and I'm not real inclined to
play it. Both of those problems should've been caught at the factory.
I'm pretty sure it said 1.5 though.
One thing I'm not clear on. On the Pinballnews review, it says:
"Completing the mark ladder qualifies you for the Jericho wizard
mode. The latest version of the software we are reviewing makes this
several times harder than the earlier revisions by asking you to light
all six marks in just one ball. If you fail to light them all, any lit
inserts are extinguished at the start of the next ball and you have to
start again."
"You can change the settings to remove the single ball requirement and
make it easier to get Jericho, but lighting all the marks in one ball
is the default setting under version 1.4."

The other game I'm playing (definitely on 1.4), which I assume has
default settings, allows you to carry over lit Marks to the next ball.
Not so on the other game. Which is correct (default) on 1.4?

Pinball News is usually pretty accurate, but they're wrong. Default
on 1.4 is that Marks carry over from ball to ball. Only Characters
remain lit for 1 ball.
As for Jericho and Do or Die....yeah, I guess that would kinda suck of
Jericho supersedes Do or Die. I started Do or Die once w/ one Mark to
go...and I think starting Do or Die gave me Mark 6 - so when I made
the Do or Die shot and got the points, it then instantly started
Jericho. That was sweet. :)
