if you are using google you can click the arrow pointing down next to the post reply button. From there select reply to author.

What if it is not the author but someone that replied in a post.

The same applies but it will only work if the correct email is
logged in.

Click on the user's name and it will direct you to a page with the
email address on it. Enter the captcha characters and you'll get he
correct address. Hope this helps!
