I have a dead Magnavox 32" flatscreen. I know these things are notorious for
puking the capacitors on the power supply, so that was my first check. Every
capacitor in the thing looks good (no bulged out tops, explosions, etc...)
but I replaced the 3 that are known to go bad (cheap gamble) with no luck.
Symptom is this- Turn the TV on, power light goes green for a couple
seconds, then yellow. Nothing appears on the screen at all.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Chris

I've fixed one flat screen so far. I've just type the model # and
what it's doing into Google and there are usually a couple of repair
websites that'll pop up

I'm currently working on a 50" Zenith that I hope to have fixed next
week. Found 2 blown capacitors on one of the main boards that controls
the picture, but it didn't fix it, Found a refurb. board online.

good luck
Chas
