Have you seen all the facts and references and anecdotes and examples
and book recommendations I've peppered throughout this thread? Is
actual research and scholarship now considered extreme? If so, then
yes I'm extreme. especially if the opposite is sit around and let
others tell me how to think because I'm too lazy to get off my ass and
learn something for myself. You do know what the definition of
ignorant is, right? And apathetic? Maybe you don't...and I'll bet you
don't care!.

You're just generalizing like crazy. I'm not coming out and blaming
anyone, except in defense of a retarded, vacuous rant blaming Obama
and the Dems for everything. I post when something doesn't pass the
sniff test. Which is alot around here. When these guys stop talking
out of their asses ill lay off...but it's like shooting fish in a
barrel.
And yes, when it comes to hatred and racism and bigotry and misogyny
and ignorance I'm very narrow minded. Again, lets have a real
discussion and you'll see what I'm really made of. What the wing nuts
have been shitting all over this thread is hardly real. It's made up
Rush Limbaugh bullshit. And I for one am going to challenge these dip
shits to add something real to the dialogue or get exposed as the
lazy, ignorant sheep they really are.

Why don't you define left wing extremism for me?
I'm certainly wasn't a political science major in college but they did
make us read Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto. And while most of my liberal
professor's thought he was one of the most brilliant minds of his time eve
they agreed his theories didn't work in the real world.
Just because you read a book written by some intellectual that reiterates
your own opinions in a more thoughtful and expanded view doesn't make you
any more open minded. It just give you more talking points to express your
own opinions.
Of course if that doesn't influence those that oppose your viewpoint you
can always tell them they make great fries.

Oh wow, first Reagan and now the Communist Manifesto! Its going to
The Prince before too long. You know, maybe I should put down this one
book I've been reading for the last 4 years and fire up the old
manifesto again. Or maybe some Trotsky, or Mao. Or hell, why not go
all in: CHOMSKY!
You have no clue what I read, and its obvious, because the facts I've
quoted throughout this thread have come from all sorts of
places...mostly the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office. But I
don't expect you understand that. After all, it's not like you're a
political science major or anything. Like me.

You don't say, a political science major. I just assumed you were a pot
smoking agnostic possibly collecting social security for your learning
disability. ;) Ha, that's a joke son.
I stand corrected. The thing is most college students lean left. They
cram that shit down your throat. You regurgitate what they feed you and
they tell you good boy! It's not until later on that you really have the
opportunity for free thought. What ever it may be. I guarantee truth
lies somewhere between or another place all together.
I know you will respond so you can have the last word. This thread could
go on for 100 more posts and you will be the last one, feeling all
triumphant and proud of your overpowering intellect. Hurray for you
genius.

I have yet to see an example of radical left thinking around here or
amongst Democratic politicians...and just being on the left doesn't
constitute "radical"

That's your own projection problem. Sometimes people are just smarter
than you. They're not having a conversation with you to feel better
about themselves. Again, this is like saying a teacher is teaching a
classroom full of kids to feel superior and look down on them.
Sorry...it's a cliche, immature reaction that people often have when
losing a debate. Some people lose debates...life goes on.

No, it's only annoying to a person who can't process logical
statements and have a rational conversation about them.

More false equivalency. Democrats went after Bush for a multitude of
actual REAL things his administration did, the biggest of which was
lying to start a war with a country that did not attack us. What have
Republicans been mad at Obama for? Things that aren't true: Birth
certificate, Kenyan, Mulsim, Communist, Socialist, Anti-Christ,
Colonialist, etc etc etc.
Republicans are freaking out right now because reality has popped
their reinforcement-loop entertainment "news" feedback bubble and they
don't know how to process it. There's a choice to make. Join
reality, or quiver in your fictionally manufactured fear and hatred.

I suppose I still am a political science major, but I got my diploma
in 1987. Free thought is fine, and alot of people are sure displaying
it around here. But free can also define what something is worth. And
yes, i hope my thinking is informed. i certainly try to ensure it is
as well as i can manage. And that takes time and effort. It's not
free.
And I prefer to let my free thinking be influenced by not just my own
experience but by people I trust and respect and feel aren't always
trying to slam an agenda own my throat. Yes, this includes "experts".
I don't always agree with them either. Those are some of the hardest
lessons. I really wish someone in this thread would have come up with
something better than "America is over" or "Obama is a lying
socialist", or "the takers have won and 'us' hard workers now have to
support them". This stuff is beyond simplistic...it's irrational. And
it's incumbent upon people to point this out. If it turns nasty ever
so often, well, it's big boy stuff. I can handle it.

Maybe true. I have said as much in the past - to the loser goes the
spoils - the right to piss and moan about every perceived slight and
injustice. It's a privilege that comes with losing, and all losers are
guilty of it.
However...
That being said, you guys have taken butthurt to a stupefying new
level. Seriously - you make seeping vaginas look dry.
You make crying babies seem composed and silent.
You make bloody tampons look fresh as the driven snow.
You make weeping willows look proud and dignified.
In short - you have spent the last 4 years melting down in a self-
pitying stew of tears, denial, and pettiness. You've taken alarmist
hyperbole to a new level - if I had $1 for every one of you chicken
littles who has claimed "America is dead!!!111!!!" I'd have like 700
bucks.
And you've all done it with absolutely atrocious spelling and grammar,
while at the same time, displaying not one ounce of humility, self
awareness, or humor.
And, I'm sure we are in for another 4 years of it.

Yes. That is a fact. You keep repeating it as sarcasm...but you've failed to take me up on my challenge: "PROVE ME WRONG" (oh noes, I'm asking for FACTS)
Once again - find me an instance where MSNBC showcased FNC's hypocrisy, lies, or propaganda and the factual evidence used was proven to be INCORRECT.

Have I mentioned yet how delightful it is that Frank - who everybody
here hates - has the exact same political outlook as our favorite
grammar-impaired rightwingtards (harhahar...I added "tard" at the end,
I'm so clever!!!)

Curious if during your "victory laps" you ever found Mary Jo Kopechne
to comment on how great a guy Ted Kennedy is? (harhar) LOL

I think you've proven that you've hit your head against a brick wall

> Your a fucking idiot!!
And you have proven about 20 times in this thread that you don't know
the difference between "your" and "you're."
This is something most 4th graders can handle. Have you ever
considered going back to school? Are you embarrassed in the least that
you don't have command of even the simplest components of written
English?
Or are you proud of the fact that you learned virtually nothing in
elementary school, and are not one of those "elitist" liberals who
actually know how to write?
