I'll just say that forget about any of the nit-picks you've heard, use
the thing for about 10 minutes and they will all prove as
insignificant as you thought they would be. I have an 8125 smartphone
which seemed pretty good untill I used thing. Its like comparing a
macbook to a Commodore Pet. The wheel to whatever kind of square thing
people used to try to move around on. Simply awesome.
Sorry Crabby Abby, it's the real deal. It instantly exposes all the
other phones for the clumsy jokes they are.
Went to the Apple store in Chicago yesterday and had a chance to play
with one for awhile. It is a really cool phone/ipod/etc device. The
features are laid out very well and it does what it is supposed to
(from what I saw).
No way I think it's worth the money, but that's just me.
Kirb
it will sync with any network that has 802.11 (b or g) wireless
support.
I paid $500 for my POS Palm Treo when it came out and it was nothing
but problems and I had to have it replaced several times. I paid $300
for my Blackberry and I thought it was great. $500 for the iphone with
so much more functionlity wasn't a big deal for me. Plus I sold my
bberry for $150 so it only cost me $350. Not to mention that I am
saving $10 a month since iphone internet is cheaper than it is for
blackberry ($20 vs. $30-$50mo.) which makes the phone effectively cost
me $230.
