I just picked up a pair of Game Plan cocktail pintables from '77 or '78,
REAL and BLACK VELVET. Both have good cabinets, somewhat worn playfields,
but both are missing the MPU board and ROMs, and one also missing
the solenoid driver board and the little roulette wheel.
(Except for artwork, they seem to be identical games).

I got them cheap enuf that I could live with parting them out,
keeping the real EM chimes (4 notes each), and using them as tables
in my rec room. The playfield parts are in fine shape and
chrome-plated in the best Gottlieb tradition.
Last commercially operated in '82, and kept dry ever since.

But I'd like at least some leads on where to look for CPU board, ROMs,
and manuals (either set, if there's any difference).
Be nice to get one of them working -- keep it in front of the TV to hold
dinners or toy computer, and shoot a few balls off during
commercials.

Anyone got any help? Conversely, anyone interested in parts out of one?
BTW, Black Velvet's double, FOXY LADY, is the last pin shown in
Pinball_1, along with a full story of cocktail pins in general and
various flash-in-pan companies that tried to make them.
[At least I don't have to worry about the backglass :-]

Shooter plunger looks exactly like same-vintage Stern job.
