Thanks Pascal and Mel!

The earlier stock picture didn't do much for me but these look great!

I hope the flow is as good as the graphics.

Thanks for posting these pics. Looks pretty darn cool. I wonder how
incomplete the software is? MattyB.

I really want to play this game now. Looks awesome.

Someone make a video so we can see it in action and hear what it
sounds like! :)

We just discussed the need to have obvious things to shoot for, and
this one has AND the ramp to the skull (with 'ock1' and 'lock2' ;) )
as real locks, AND the turning disk. I hope that that'll works great,
like IJ4 does on location, and that for the advanced player, the rules
are/will be good too!

Well, I can only hope the local bowling alley, Pinz gets it. They've
gotten every new game so far. They rotated out Pirates and LOTR for
Batman and Indy. I wonder what would leave the lineup if CSI came
in. When I was there on Saturday, it seemed like every game was being
played equally!

In any case...I hope they get a CSI. :)

9 shots plus standups? That's pretty good.

Looks like good flow too with a U-turn and a couple of long orbits/
loops. Don't know about the two magnetic poles in the orbit under the
skull. :0)

I agree, looks pretty promising.

I don't think those are magnetic poles, I think they're diverter poles like
in the back loop lane of SM.

Not to be a spoil sport, but this is the best they can do?
When you're the only game in town, what the incentive to compete?
Believe me, I want Stern to do well, but with the recent layoffs, and
with no one else to push you to do your best, where's the drive?
I love pinball, but I'm not crazy about the photo shopping art that
seems to be happening with their most recent lineup of games.
Where's the art?

"The art" is on the list of things that bring in ZERO DOLLARS on
location if you photoshop as opposed to whatever else it is you want
them to use :-)

The theme is CSI. ....the art package looks like CSI. I mean - would
it REALLY be better if it was all drawn like the DE/Sega games?
Honestly it might look more cheesy to see drawings of those guys. I
mean, I like hand drawn art - but at the same time, I think playfields
like LOTR looks fantastic. *shrug*

Sorry Greg.

Low resolution pixelated cut and paste images look like ass.

Paper thin plastics look like ass.

24 gauge wireforms look like ass.

I realize that it's the current state of pinball but it doesn't mean
that it doesn't suck.

"The Art"? This isn't about art, its about Pinball and the bottom line
is to PAY someone to draw what you can get just as easy (and MUCH
cheaper) with photo manipulation is not an economically smart move.

If Stern did all this stuff some people wanted them to do? It would
probably double the price of the machines, then no one would buy them,
then Stern would go out of business and that would be that as far as any
new pinball machines being made. EVER.

Stern plastics are thinner? Never noticed but who would care? I've got
8 Sterns and have yet to have a plastic break.

Your complaining about the wireform gauge? What, are they bending
under the G-force of a pinball?

This is all you have to complain about?
What about the unfinished code??? How can you bitch about Stern and
not mention that?
Your definition of suck needs a little work IMO. MattyB.

Looks cool... I'd like to get a chance to play one, but I can't see
any of our local arcades springing for that theme. =(

And hey, how does Sara Sidle make it on the backglass but Warrick
Brown gets dissed? First they kill him off, then leave him out of the
pin? (I know, he's not under contract anymore.)

I like CSI, but I don't know if I can keep watching it once Grissom
leaves. =p

I too am not a fan of Stern's art package but they do what they do.
I probably won't have a Stern in my line up but that is just a matter
of taste.
I am a John Youssi fan so you know what type of artwork I appreciate.

I will say that the artwork on this look a ton better than IJ4 or
POTC.

I understand that people don't think it is about he art but come on,
that is what
you are looking at while you play and what draws a lot of attention to
the game.

Hope it plays great and sells thousands and thousands.

What's with the chalk outline on the side? Investigators don't use
chalk outlines! Every time I see chalk outlines I laugh because no
one ever does that! That is an old hollywood farse. It's called
cameras people, they've been around for a while.

The games layout looks great, it's a shame it's tied in with CSI.
