Never had any dealings with Chris before, but not 30 minutes after I posted
asking for a single FL-15411 coil, he emailed asking for my address. A couple
days later.. not one, but two brand new FL-15411's were in my mailbox.

Thanks Chris! My Drac is way happier now!

i don't think nice guy is a good enough statement.

he'll do just about anything for ya, if he knows you are into the hobby for the
*love* of it ;-)

And I thought you were going to say the neighbors are afraid of fires. :-)

Honestly, there are a handful of guys on RGP that I would love to live next to.
And I hate to say it, but anal does have something to do with it. :-)

Watch your back Grover, you're one that I wouldn't mind as a neighbor. :-)

If you're referencing me Pin-Del... then NO WAY! I'm going to keep Chris
busy for YEARS to come... he doesn't even know it but I'm queuing up my next
game for him to restore right now... if I can just get my arse in gear to go
pick the darn game up! Had to go see the Vikes beat up on some Jaguar butt
today... oh so sweet!

Seriously maybe next years Expo I'll finally go and meet all you guys... I
live 30 minutes from Bryan and LTG. I can say from experience (not that
kind of experience) that yes Bryan is as anal as he purports to be... his
pins are pretty damn sweet (I wish I could wrestle a couple more out of his
collection). I bought ScottySped's proto CV but didn't get to meet him (if
you hadn't gathered I'm in Minnesota), nor have I met Chris in person even
though we've done a lot of business. Moral of the story is I better get my
butt to some of these pin events!!!

Well I want to meet some of the owners of some of these spectacular pins I
keep getting to help break in about monthly it seems. Who's got the IJ and
the AFM over there that are all ready to go home? Those are some nice
games - I'm anxious to see the spinning propeller in action on the IJ and
the custom twinkle lights behind the backboard decal on the AFM thats over
there at the moment has to be one of the coolest mods I have seen in a long
time - and something I've not seen before.

Thank god Rudy is finally home for good. The way you guys have been
stacking games up over there, it will be a wonder if I can *ever* get my MM
and CC in line. I'm planning to post details of the game's restoration in
the next few days.

Those two are mine, Andy. Chris has pulled out all the stops with my
AFM and the proto IJ. We wanted to use the "intended" backboard artwork
on the AFM but he took it a notch further when he backlit the backboard
(the first I have ever seen of this). Stunning isn't it? That's what I
like about Chris - not only is he meticulous but he's willing to "riff"
with the owner to create a piece of art. It's hard to explain, but easy
to see - that be a "Hutchins pin". Now send my babies home Chris! ; )

It's rare to meet someone that is as nice a guy as he is talented,
Chris is simply the best even when he beats the crap out of me testing
games before he ships them out!

Stunning? I think breathtaking my friend. Absolutely mind-blowing, if its
possible for a pin to be described by these words. Wait until you see
outerspace twinkling during game play. I bet you'll start to see everyone
else doing this mod in about 30 minutes and I'm sure someone else will step
up and take the credit. That's ok, we both know where we saw it first.

I'm about to post pics of my Hutchins FH#3. Be on the lookout... Oh, you
still didn't tell me your name though!

I've yet to do anything to my AFM backboard so this sounds like something I
*must* see ;-)

Is it like the implanted fiber optics that Tom did? (or was it another TZ mod guy?)

Manic, initially we wanted the planets backboard yet something a little
different. Chris located a really cool translucent backboard w/ the
planet decal screened on it. So we thought some subtle back lighting
would look pretty cool. Illuminating the planets looked awesome, but
Chris being Chris wanted to go further so he modified even more, not
only back lighting the planets but also creating a twinkling stars
effect. It's pure class.

On that note, and as long as we're blowing the guy up take a look at my
Funhouse I just had him do for me. You can also click my name on the left
side on the page (link) below and see my gameroom.

Chris has clear coated my Whirlwind, Bride of Pinbot, Funhouse, and a Safe
Cracker and Theatre which I sold. Amazing work.

www.charlottepinball.com is the link.

Can't that guy get ANY bad press? No small animals ever kicked
in his distant past? It's just too abnormal to sell to nit-pickers over
here not get the occasional torching ;-)

Did you find *any* flaw in the game pics? I can't find a flaw and I can
play the damn thing!!

When you do a job right every time, and you deliver what you sell, you reap
the rewards. I think not being able to find one person who was unhappy with
any game he restores speaks volumes about what I have been clamoring all
along. I just wish living closer got me in the express lane. :)

Yeah, and word on the street is that if all the usual pin fiends aren't
availble, then delivery assistance from the king is free! Sucks to be you I
guess :) Of course if I had all your money then I prolly wouldn't care
either. :) I say that *only* because you must have enough cash to play the
game - and I ain't talking about *playing* any game literally. I know what
Chris charges!! You get what you pay for.
