I know some people don't like it but it serves a useful purpose for
many of us to get in contact with other attendees to buy/sell/trade
machines and parts and arrange transportation.

I love going to A-town but it seems that pin shows are more like a pin swap meet. It seems like all the god deals are done between the venders before the show even starts. Just my 2 cents.

SOME good deals yes but no where close to all. That said, if you're
looking from either side, "you too" can get in on it. Are you buying,
selling or trading?

I don't see the big deal in the spreadsheet. What I'm looking for
wouldn't be in the show anyways. I want projects. If I can find what I
want and have someone meet me there to save shipping, that is a plus
for me.

Just because someone arranges to sell a machine and meets the person
there, it seems people feel that the machine should be put on the
floor and this is somehow preventing machines from being in the show.

I agree with CEG. If I get anything, it'd be a project game, since my last one was a bust. Mostly I'm there to play games I wouldn't normally get to play.

These are machines I'm asking for people to bring. These aren't
machines that were intended to be at the flea market. What if someone
did happen to have one to bring to the flea market and they contact
me, and we agree on a price. So, what's the harm in that? They are
guaranteed a sale.

Hey, CEG,

You're actually using the spreadsheet
for the right reason. The problem is, most
people do not.
You should probably post separately
that you're interested in buying certain titles for
pick-up at the show. Most people want to bring
UNsold items since there will be a lot of
potential buyers there.
The problem is, many people bringing
games for sale to the show, use them for the
free-play area to obtain free admission. If a guy
plans on bringing 4 games for display in the
show, but sells 3 of them via the spreadsheet a
week before the show and isn't decent enough
to let Ivan know about it, the free-play area
ends up with 3 empty spots. Multiply that with
the actual success of the spreadsheet, and Ivan
has a potential disaster from the get-go, let
alone those that sell during the show and, (not
considering Ivan's position), roll it out the door
at say, 1:30.
I also want to see more projects
there, but everyone seems to want to complain
about how the free-play area games are in
"Project" Shape. So I was critisized. I'm
surprised collectors want to spend so much
time playing the games, I never had the time.
Too many hands to shake, old friends to re-
aquaint.
I understand a machine is a big item
to bring along not to want it to double as your
free admission, but in using the spreadsheet,
please offer Ivan some consideration as he
prepares yet another great experience for us..
