I haven't been around too much lately (like for months), so pardon if I
missed this
information.

I'm just curious... When (or is it in/over with) does Big Bang Bar go
into Production...
or what is happening with it.

Also, I'd love to read a quick take on it.

Thanks,

Last week Tuesday (01-Oct-96) Capcom laid off a substantial number of
employees, including the programmer of Big Bang Bar (who happens to be
me). At the time they let me go BBB had not yet gone into production.

Remember Capcom is owned by Sega now. What is the plan here? Why did
they buy Capcom? Maybe just for the production line? Do they intend to
have two games going at a time or are they taking Capcom's better facility
and selling off the current Sega factory? .. or are they trying to do
more redemption??? Cut the Cheese did well I hear...

AKAIK, the Sega/Capcom merger is still only a *proposed* merger - the two
companies are not as one and nothing has been finalised.
