Ok People,

I've heard that there are a large number of collectors on the west
side of Michigan.

A - I would love to meet others on this side of the state to play and
talk pinball.

B - Looking for someone that has experience remove mylar as I've got
my TAF playfield pulled apart and thinking about removing the mylar.
I'm planning on going the freeze method and just looking for someone
with experience.

Please send me an e-mail if you want to play, talk or help get through
a rebuild.

Thanks,

Jeff

Jeff,

I have been successful removing mylar using a heat gun. Just go slow
and easy then use goo gone to remove the old adhesive. Don't get to GR
too often, but would be happy to assist. I live a 10 miles west of
Lansing if your ever in the neighborhood.

Hey, Jeff!

I successfully removed mylars with a heat gun, even from an old
playfield with water damage - just make sure you heat it up good when
pulling it away (slowly) from inserts - thats really the only area of
concern. It was good talking to you the other day and I would be glad
to help you do it sometime!

This old Pinball DVD, very good explanation of the mylar removal. I
have the TZ and the freeze spray is demonstrated.
