I have a Scared Stiff and when I bought it, everything worked fine.
About a month later, the sound and video started going and then I
smelled something burning and the F501/2 fuses blew. I sent the board
off for repair and it came back "repaired." After re-installing the
board, I heard loud hums coming from all speakers, but no game
sounds. The fuses were not blown, though.
In the interim, I bought an NOS AV board, so I installed this one and
immediately, the game sound worked and no loud hum, but within
minutes, all four of the fuses blew.
Any ideas?

Hi Greg,

Yup, this is the way to post a problem.
Hmmmm...those fuses all fuse the AC power coming from the transformer
secondary. I would guess that you have a power issue coming from your
transformer.

I didn't do the research to see if this could cause the problem, but
make sure the game is jumpered correctly for 120VAC/60Hz nominal US
voltage supply...assuming you are in the US.

Disconnect everything that the transformer secondary attaches to and
test it's output voltages.

It sounds like you may need a qualified repairman to pay you a visit.

Did you change any speakers? Any shorts in the speakers? ( Maybe
something sitting on the cabinet speaker) Have you checked the V
coming on to the A/V board at J605? Have you tried disconnecting the
J606 and J604 and replacing the fuses? A few ideas. Don
