Need shipping TX-LA, seller will not prepare, thinking about uship.com

I am considering purchasing a pin in the Dallas area, and having it
shipped to the New Orleans area (~ 500 miles.) I would just go pick it
up myself, but I am far away from there at the moment, and won't get
back until November, and the seller says he will be too busy to deal
with it then, so it needs to be removed from his place before then. The
pin is disassembled. I asked he could at least shrink wrap the backbox,
but he refused.
I've been calling around, and interesting I got the same exact (to the
penny!) quote from A-1 Freeman Moving Group and NAVL, ~$350. This tells
me that both would be using the same subcontractor. I am interested in
other shippers that the forum members here might know.
I have also learned of a website called uship.com. in which the customer
puts out a bid for what he needs moved, and then folks on it, with the
result typically being very good price. (Perhaps the subs are doing
the bidding without having to pay "tribute" to the capos.) I would have
no problem doing this, but I would want to make sure that the shippers
would so some things (like shrinkwrapping the backbox so the backglass
won't get dinged, etc.) Has anyone use this? I would like to ask some
questions about it.

I should say that I tried to call coinopshippers.com, but they never
seem to answer the phone, and have not replied to my submission of a
bid.

There have been some that have had good luck with U-Ship. That said, you tube "Shipping Wars." It's a reality TV show about U-ship and several of the shippers. After having watched the show, there is no way in heck I would ever use U-Ship. Just a thought.

I have had 4 pins (3 then 1) picked up from my place and both times it went fine. 1st time a dually with a 28' enclosed trailer picked up 3 games. He used blankets and strapped them to sidewalls. 2nd pickup the guy came in a pick-up for a project em that was heading to Australia via Great Lakes port in Indiana.
If I were asking for bids I would specify how you want the games handled. This would factor into the bid. Remember, with uship you need patience waiting for a driver to go the same route as you need so you may have to wait a month to get decent bids back - just sayin.

of Zaccarias that are rare in North America, and may end up just buying
them from someone in Europe and biting the bullet with the shipping.
I would have plenty of time with the pin from TX.
