Last week, the right flipper button started going to the up position as
soon as you would press the start button. I shut the machine off and the
flipper dropped. Which made me think it was an electronic issue. So I
opened the machine and discovered that the plastic opto interrupter had
broken off and was in the bottom of the cabinet. No opto interrupter
means the flipper goes up. I ordered a new one from Marco and figured
that would fix the problem. Put the new one in; checked my work; and the
flipper still goes up when I hit the start button.
I went into switch edges and pressed the right flipper button and it
registered F2. Which is the lower right opto. So okay on that.
Before this started, nothing was touched and the machine hadn't been
opened in a while.
If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it.
