Your low might be a little high, and your high might be a little
low...I think you can find what you're looking for, but your price
range seems a little bit narrow.

Dave down in NE philly just posted his the other day for $6700 I think,
it looks really nice he just needs to clean the rubbers a bit. I
thought that was a fair price for a MM considering they usually go for
around there or a lot more.

I sold one for $5200 a couple months ago but the playfield was pretty
rough and it took a week or two to sell it. Even though people may
say that price was low based on what people are currently asking, I
don't think buyers are really paying those high prices on a regula
basis. That price range sounds more than reasonable. Good luck!

Rare! They do pop up, but if you need a new playfield and decals is
$5500/$5800 a good deal? I'd say nope! Playfield $600+(IPB repro's at
that price is still needs fixxed!) plus decals $250. You're at almost
$1000! You still have to do the work. Drop the ~$7000 and get a game
that doesn't need 100hrs of work. E

That's so true! I just got a routed MM for 3600, but it need new
playfield, new castle, new moat ramp, new drawbridge, new plastics
set, new decals, etc.
3600 is a goood price but when you add the extra cost and the time,
I'd have preferred a good-looking 6500 MM !

The root of the problem is folks like me. I got my MM for $4200 two
years ago. Routed and rough. Flipper scuff and a few fried
transistors. Spent $1000 like flying high says.

But I love doing the restore work with my son so I'd almost (I said
almost) pay more for a machine that needs TLC than a finished one.

The guys like me make it so that there is virtually no arbitrage
margin available in the A list pins unless you find a lazy seller.

Almost? Dang, I'd have to say I've done that without a doubt more than
once. Something about a done pin is just not as appealing to me. I
figure the extra I end up paying in the end is like an "entertainment
charge." The fun I had figuring out what was wrong with the darn
thing.
