WPC Driver board compatibility?

I have never had cause to look, but I am wondering if WPC driver boards are
backwards compatible? Meaning can a Driver Board from a newer game like
BSD/Popeye/TZ etc. be used in Funhouse?? The Funhouse part # in the manual
is A-12697-1 Where as I have seen others as A-12697-3 (Popeye).

Can I use this Popeye Driver Board in a FH or the other way around?? What

If the older board has a relay and the newer board doesn't, then no. LTG :)
