So now that I have used up most of my home's empty space with 14 pins
and several vids :P , I want to find a way to organize the many parts
I've gradually stocked up on for my machines, as well as the tools I use
for them. What I'd really like is a cabinet or drawer system that would
actually fit under each each pinball machine, and would be somewhat
movable/slidable on carpet for times when a pin has to be pulled away
from the wall or repositioned.

Any ideas on storage solutions for parts and tools? I do not want to
use my garage space, as I have a number of friends who use that space to
work on and modify their cars, and I'd like to have a separate place
inside my home where pinball tools (which would be off-limits to
car-friends) are kept clean and organized for when I need them for pin
repair. I do not want to lose any further space in my home to storing
and organizing these parts either, which is why utilizing the empty
space under my pins would be really nice.

Let me know your ideas, and thanks!

I use something like this from Lowe's I think. It's great for the
smaller stuff. http://www.mcmelectronics.com/content/productimages/s4/22-15424~22-15430.jpg

I use the same container as mentioned in the last post. I bought them from Harbor Freight.

I use these for parts,

I didn't use this exact brand but you get the idea. Mine just fit
between the legs and you can stack them but you have to pull them out
one at a time if stacked.

I have one of these and it just fits under a pin. Great if you have to do a mobile repair. Also have some of the stuff already mentioned.

Yes, those are nice. I have two Lista cabinets--similar product as
Stanley Vidmar but with slightly higher capacity, a 15 drawer and an
11 drawer, both of them around 5' high. It really helps with the
small parts storage. For example, all flipper parts from several mfrs
in one drawer. Fasteners in another drawer, that sort of thing. If
you look around a bit you can find them used. By the way, they are
extremely heavy. Mine are 550 and 795 pounds empty. I don't plan on
moving them again, ever.

I like the idea of having something that will roll under my pins, to save some room. I have a couple of these rolling plastic carts with drawers but they're 26.4" high and I don't think they'll fit under my pins....there must be something similar that's around 24: high or so and will fit ubder a pin.
