reverse phone lookup shows the same guy as the last time, which was a
fake. Last time it was at 3500 a couple weeks ago.

Looks like the same ad that posted a few weeks ago for $4500 with a
busted sound board. Whoever is doing this is wasting a lot of other
people's time.
picture looks familiar

I know we can't get all of them, but, for the repeat offenders like
this, I'd be up for some payback fun to make him move onto another
scam...
Just a thought....

I found this yesterday I assume it is more of the same scamming crap?

I question the motive of this one - because of the number being
there.... The canada scam (where they give you the mail about being
out of the country, etc)... they spring that story, and expect you to
pay and run off. I would never post a link to one of those - its a
waste of time.
For this one - where they give a number - are they looking for people
to call so they can build a number database? Do they want someone to
show up and beat them down?
Back to Joes point - it would be great to put people like this in
place. I think understanding the motive first and throwing it back to
them harshly would be the best approach (oh - a meet and beat? hire a
400 pound body guard to show up and return the favor. Oh a database
scam? Out his phone service ASAP and post about the glory of ending
his goal... etc).
Just trying to get into their head -
