On my creature, when in multiball, the flippers go weak (or at least
the right flipper noticeably) when the hologram lights up. I'm guessing
the light or motor are causing a drop in power.

Does this sound like a fliptronics problem or a driver board problem? I
have had occasional reset problems on this game (especially in
multiball) in the past.

sounds like a voltage problem. Check fuse holders, line voltage first.
Then the usual, the bridges, transistors, and caps.

Swap the flipper opto boards and see if the problem moves to the other
flipper. If so replace the bad flipper opto board. This is often the
problem.

Had this problem with mine. When multiball started, the left flipper
quit altogether. Bad opto-board. Changed it and it has worked fine
since.

Ditto here. I swapped out the left flipper opto board and that fixed
the problem.

Maybe you could try disconnecting each item (motor, motor, light)
separately, and see if one of them has an effect.

With the glass off, it would not take too long.

To me, it sounds like an internal partial short to one of the
components, or mechanical binding.

I think, therefore I play pinball. :P
