The key is to cut the outside blue portion of the decal off up to the
black border. That way, once installed, the two blues aren't next to
each other. You end up with the black portion separating the two.

It may or may not apply in this particular case, but inks (e.g. the
decals) have a wider range of possible colors than paints.
There are some ink colors that are impossible to match with paint.

I tried that at Lowe's and Home Depot with the Fun House Decals. Both stores
color matching machines could not match the color.

Depending on the amount of fade your cabinet has, varies with all pins,
1929 may be closer. It wasn't for me.
Using 1927 works if you paint the entire head then install the decals
the way I described earlier.
