Painting plastic parts on Star Trek Next Gen Pin

Hi,
Has anyone painted their plastic parts on a pinball machine. My STTNG
pin is faded in several of the plastics. I thought about painting the
gun covers and the Borg, Romulan, and Klingon ships. If anyone has
painted this ships, what colors did you use. I wanted to spruce them
up with some different colors which closely resemble the actual ships.

Bad idea in my opinion.
Bad idea in my opinion.
Only reason to do this is when you have worthless plastic parts AND new ones
handily available to keep the game in it's original state.
(like I did with the shuttle)
