At the beach for vacation. There's a South Park in the Adventurer Inn
arcade and 1 location that has 50+ EM's. Haven't made it all the way to
the North end of the boardwalk yet, but went in about 6 arcade and
nothing. Only redemption machines, skee-ball and stuffed animal crane
games.

Anyone know of a pin location on or around the boardwalk?

Rob

One of the arcades towards the end of the boardwalk had a Theatre of Magic but that was a year ago. Opposite end of the convention center next to the go karts.

Gateway 26(Right across from Morey`s Pier) always has 3-4 of the
newest pins. It`s a shame but there are no street arcades locally
anymore...

I at one time had 4 arcades off of the boardwalk in hotel gamerooms (and
each site had at least 1 pinball machine). One of the sites was a block
off and in its own building. People would come in off the street to play.

After I sold my stake in the business. No one to fix them (or correctly)
anymore so now all of them now have no pinballs. Just video games. :(

I saw 2 transformers LE's on the boardwalk a couple of weeks ago. One
was at gateway.

Jilly's (12th and Boardwalk) in Ocean City, NJ has about 12-14 DMD
machines and is open 24 hours during the summer months. It's about 30
minutes north of Wildwood

Nice to hear that Jilly's has pins back. Last time I was there, there was
only one.

If you can get from downtown Wildwood to downtown OC in 30 minutes, I will
really be impressed. Let me know when you try it as I will stay off the
roads. Garden State Parkway, lookout!

Jillys has a ton, I would say closer to 20. The problem is that most
have something wrong with them. They perform no maintenance at all.
Its a shame. Great titles too like MM, MB, TAF, TOM, FGY, TF,
SM,....etc

That statement is 100% correct. Unless it is brand new to 6 months old,
something is broken on it. :(
Sometimes making it even pointless to play .. example, flippers so weak
there is no way in hell you are going to make a ramp shot on TDK.

It would also be nice if they just leveled the games. The SM was
titled 10%...horrible game play.

You can get from wildwood to Jillys in 30 minutes, no problem, just not on a saturday morning. I've been working with Jody from Jillys on trying to offer my services of fixing and shopping the games up there, they are in a sad state last time I checked.

I'll give you 30 minutes at 2 AM.

I checked mapquest out and they state 40 minutes and I find that hard to
believe. I am thinking 45 to 50 depending on how screwed up the Stone
Harbor lights get. Mapquest has it going in the 34th bridge. Getting from
34th to Jilly's always took me what seemed like forever, not including the
30 minutes looking for free parking in the summer.

We used to stay out around 44th. It was faster to bicycle given the
parking. When we stayed out around 53rd, it took us half a hour in the
evenings to get down to the boardwalk.

Anyone remember Hogates restaurant at the 9th street bridge?

Why whould you go thru stone harbor to get to Ocean city? Either which way its 29 miles and its probably not worth the drive to play poorly maintained games - just come to my house its 1 mile from ocean city - just bring beer.

Although one could drive through each of the towns and pay the tolls on each
of the drawbridges, I was referring to the GSP traffic lights at Stone
Harbor Blvd. Hence the going in the 34th street bridge into OC.
Sorry I was not clear.

What type of beer do you like?

Last year at the Mariner's arcade there was Tron and The Rolling

The 'Flashbacks' section of the Carousel Arcade in Seaside Heights, NJ
has about 12 pins (1980's+) in good shape. Have a working Hercules pin,
too. Just visited last week. There is also a 'retro' video games room
with 20+ games.

I have a summer home in West Wildwood and just returned to PA
yesterday. I have done pin reports in the past, but this year things
are terrible. Randy Senna does have his old time pinball arcade in
the Boardwalk Mall, but I don't believe he has any DMD games. The
Stones and Tron at Mariner's are gone - nothing at Mariner's. One of
the Transformers LE games is already gone - the one a few properties
north of Mariner's. They now have an Iron Man. TFLE, Avatar, and one
other Stern (sorry, I am not certain which one) are at Gateway 26.
TSPP at Olympic in North Wildwood. That is just about it for the
boardwalk. I was looking for an AC/DC, but no luck.

That sucks Harry. Cape May has pins in both of the arcades on the boardwalk. Well at least they used to.

Made it up to Gateway 26 and Olympic and got to play those pins
(TF,IM,Avatar,TSPP). All in great working condition. I guess I'm happy
to be able to play anything on location!

Just got back from Cape May, NJ.

They still have Stern BDK, Elvis, POTC and Shrek in the 2 arcades. POTC had it's ship back. (Was missing last year, so somebody cares.)
Jack's Open at Della's 5 & 10 appeared to have new rubber since last year but the bumpers are still lame. Too bad.

Went to the Remember When Arcade in Wildwood. Randy now has his best games on coin play including Buckaroo, King of Diamonds, World Fair and Central Park. They are set at 50¢/play. Also Gtb Soccer, Solar City, Quick Draw, Big Brave, Card Whiz and others. Fireball II is the only SS, I think. He has added quite a few non-pinball EM games since last year. I wish I had written down the names.
Several gun games including Midway's Haunted House. A sit-down driving game, an airplane shooting game.

Didn't have time to search out DMDs on the Wildwood BB.

Got up to Asbury Park to the Silverball Museum one day. Highly recommended! Played many classics and some rare games.

But next year, if I go back, there better be LCDs (WOZ) up and down the boardwalk.
