TECH: Check Fuses F115 & F116

I am at WIT'S End.

I have (2) WPC driver boards, completely professionally repaired, that
do the same thing in my WhoDunnit when powering up.

Check Fuses F115 & F115..etc

I have even replaced the complete wiring harness from the transformer to
J112 and the other connectors. There are new connectors that have been
replace on both WPC Driver boards.I have inspected all the wiring for
any shortcomings. None I can see.

So I am pretty confident it is not the WPC Driver boards or the harness
to the transformer.

What's the next step here please?? Thanks in advance!

Oh, and I did check Fuses F115 & F116, the obvious, the correct way out
of the holder.

I learned something today. Just putting new IDC connectors using the
correct punch down tool makes a crappy connection or possibly not one at
all.
I had redone the IDC connector for the backbox lights and they never did
illuminate after completing it.
I had to embellish the connection today with a flat blade jeweler's
screwdriver.
Now after forcing the wires into the IDC connector even more, the
backbox lights are back!

I had also re-done one of the 3 pin IDC connectos in the lower left
corner of the WPC Driver board as well. Applied same push it down more
with a flat blade jeweler's scredriver technique. Voila! Check Fuses
F115 & F116 error gone!
Game is now starting but I get a Check Ramp Diverter error. Not sure
why. It does work and the ramp diverter switch is fine too.

Best thing, now that you are an expert crimper, is to never fool with
IDC connectors any more. If you have a connector issue, replace with
new housing and trifurcon pins.

On the diverter issue, I am not familiar with the game, but if there
is a switch that is activated by the ball after the diverter is
activated, check that switch. If the game doesn't see that switch
activated, it will assume the diverter isn't activating. The diverter
doesn't have a switch to tell the game "Hey! I'm activated!". It has
to rely on a ball hitting a switch that can only be hit after the
diverter is activated.
