I purchased a Dual-Action airbrush (1500 from Harbor Freight) and a
hobbiest compressor ($99 on sale for $59) with trap/gauge (from Harbor
Freight).
I purchased my Enamal paints, specifically mixed to match the paint
colors from the game, from Lowes.
My questions are:
* I need a Paint THINNER to thin the paint down for spraying. They
recommended Mineral Spirits or Paint Thinner. My research shows those
will work, but NAPTHA would be better and dry quicker. What are you
guys using?
* I need a paint solvent(?) to clean up the airbrush sprayer after
shooting a color. They recommended Mineral Spirits. My research
shows NAPTHA would be better. What are you guys using?
I'm thinking I should get NAPTHA because I can use it as a
* Thinner
* for clean up (Solvent?)
* for cleaning wax, dirt, etc from Cabinet (and Playfields) prior to
painting them
I would rather purchase 1 type of product, but if I need different
products I will get them. What's your suggestions?
Good luck on your project. Please hurry! ;-)
That sounds like an awfully big job for an airbrush
