The entry in the schedule for the Internet Get-Together is from last
year. The
get-together will happen as scheduled, but the topics will be
different.

Also take note of the talk by Mark Helms on Friday morning. The
producers of
the 1996 documentary are considering how much money to invest in
updating
it. Rampant bootlegging will dissuade them!

The seminar on pneumatic pinball is a repeat from many years ago,
presumably
by popular demand. They had the ultimate solution to long game times:
you
can only play as long as your tank of air holds out!

There are recordings on Pinball News of the three previous ones. ( caution
adult language - quite often the ladies get out of hand as the evening
progresses )

Probably very similar. Pinball parts, pinball parts, questions, answers,
some Pinball Circus gags, drawings for prizes. You never know where the
crowd will take you.

Some pretty good questions. I have half a century in coin op and almost 40
years with SS Billiards, 19 years as a test operator. Stories from the
industry, current affairs. So it can be interesting both the questions and
the answers.

Only thing secret is the new material I'm working on for the toasts.

The show pretty much goes where the crowd takes it.

And I need to find an full mask animal head sporran. If anyone has one
laying around please loan it to me for the show.

For it to be a hobby and not an industry.

Last time I checked the mailman doesn't come home from work and go for a
walk.

My idea of what I'd like to do right now is get up to Cloquet and see the
D&NE RR steam engine #28 getting a cosmetic overhaul in her old home before
returning to the Duluth museum.

To sit in #28's cab again, in her engine house. Which I did often in the
early 1970's.

Is pure enjoyment. To me.

Once the engine is back at the museum it isn't the same.

I'm not sure. I have a lot of stories. Not sure which ones have been told
before, or can be told.

I don't really think about any in particular for the show. They are more
where the audience takes things and what I end up thinking of at the time.

The last expo I attended was in 1999. I toured the Williams pinball
factory and a few days later it shut down. StarWars 1 was in production
and now when I watch my Tilt Video I see myself sitting in the expo room
hearing George Gomez speak on the creation of Pinball 2000. I also hear
my voice on the video when I asked him a question about P2K. I would
love to go back to expo again sometime it is awsome. I am thinking of
going to the CA expo in two weeks. Does anyone here have any thoughts on
that show. I like the newer DMD games and was wondering if the Ca. show
is mainley EM.

As stated, its a love-in for pinball folks, fat guys and few wives of
which are usually the same in description and denouement as the nigthts
grow long. The ones that don't are first and last timers. Reminisce
all you like and have ties, reality is every show is literally the same
with the same players, same plots, and actually pretty much the same
games being displayed as 'new.' Sad, but pinball as we know it is 2-3
decades dead and dying a very very very slow death due to of course
dedicated and loving life time addicts. Enjoy the show in Cali, its
pretty much the same flavor with more youth and less jaded folks
involved, taking them longer to figure it out in the end.

Frodd,

I don't mind you fantasizing about me at all. I've already said
yes to trading with you, so let's get this deal done! I have offered
up an Eight Ball (sorry to get all SS on you Frodd). I'm still

Frodd,

I'm not sure you understand how this works. We are already
linked for eternity. And the consummation of our bond will be a sale,
