D� Furhter's Lemony Snicket Salsa el Fortunair�
5-6 Large Romas, diced medium to small
3 Large Romas, pureed quickly to a off red froth (dice first)
1/2 Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1/2 cup diced onion (white)
1/4 cup sliced green onion stalks (not the whites)
1/4 cup or more of Chopped Cilantro
1 Large clove of finely minced garlic
Table spoon of Red Chili, the stuff you put on pizza. (could use Pequin
i you like)
Sea Salt (1-2 tablespoons)
Dice up components, put in moderate sized mixing bowl. Use sharp knife,
it makes the world of difference for texture. Mix with two large
spoons, carefully going from the inside edge of the bowl to the center
and not smashing things, rising up and not dropping it. Key here is not
to bruise the components of the salsa. Add the salt to taste, lemon
should be added as well and should be a little awkward at first. It
will mellow overnight and balance with the other components. Add the
chili seeds as well, don't worry they will open up the flavor and mellow
with a day of rest in the fridge.
This is a wonderful pinball party condiment for the fat fucks that
litter the hobby landscape. :) It will give you the shits and giggles
and smack you in the face with good love. It may even help you shed lbs
as its rich in minerals and flavor, and low in calories (use chips that
are low fat). The Frank-in-Loid as SS might even enjoy this should he
still be in business next party time. Remember, keep on that diet bra,
you're looking marvelous.
