$4500 for a CC? Was it working? Did you have to pull it out of the

A working CC will rarely be seen under 6k and an HUO will still bring
around 8k plus. If anyone has a working CC out there for under 5K
please email! If you have an HUO one for around 6K, please email!

ya this is why i asked for another opinion...if u go back and read my
posts with captain neo he is not in touch with current prices...my
last topic which he put his input into was a gnr topper that i sold
two for a vendor on here at 300 each and he told me i was crazy that
they were not worth it...so i showed him two on ebay that finished at
300..umm and if u look at my new gnr topper post the other day one
finished over 500 and theres another one on there now also that just
started....so cactus canyon 5500 to 6500 range

The one that was at the Texas Pinball Festival in March (asking price
$6500 or $6000 & not sold during the show) just went to a happy person
in the Houston area for $4500.
Typical Decal issues around the legs, cracked right Gun but a nice
game overall.

picked up a route cc today..probably the only cc in a operators route
in new england..pf was good with no paint wear. overall plastics and
things looked great. only issue is the normal side art wear at the
legs. never played one before..looks like its going to be a fun game
to add to my collection.

to post, I find your posts quite humorous. I use to think you were

This is an idea of what decent shopped but not CQ games have gone for
that I have seen. Of course there will be an outlier or two on the
top and bottom. Now PFC New give it your best shot and tell us if the
price you listed is if you are buying or selling.
Bonus game -- MM $5,200 -- $6,000 with a few over the top of that at
$6,500.

As expected these are sucker prices for people unwilling to look past
the usual places to buy.
For the archives:
RGP beware of Joe Mamma, Teekee and Pinflipper. They are all classic
price inflators with a clear agenda that revolves around making money
first and foremost.
Take the time to do some research and you can find pins at much better
prices than they will quote.
Here are the real price ranges for those pins in non-CQ quality for
those willing to do some diligence (I have no agenda here other than
truth as my pin collection is complete and I am not looking to buy or
sell games anymore):
> tz $2400 -- $3200
> mb $2900 -- $3700
> afm $2700 -- $3500
> gnr $2000 -- $2800
> taf $2200 -- $3k (you were actually right on this one)
> tom $2200 -- $3000
> cv $3000 -- $3800
And these are California prices, and most seem to think California has
higher prices than other parts of the country.

I agree with pinchamp. I havnt' seen a GNR sell for over $2400 in a
year and a half. Most average $2200. TZ always hovers around the
2600 range along with TAF. AFM has always stayed around the 2900-3100
range, MB usually sticks around 3k to 3500. For TOM, good luck
trying to get over 3k for that one, and CV has dropped a lot. Used to
fetch for shopped and routed versions, until about a year ago, I
barely got $4500 for a freshly clearcoated sample, with skinny
ringmaster head. For MM, lately i've seen on average low 5's,
sometimes even 4500. These are shopped (term is subjective) average
games.

i got a guy willing to spend 2700 for gnr right now so with 300 for
shipping find me a gnr at 2400 and ill set u up with him...i hear
crickets all of a sudden!!!! also got a guy in chicago that wants a mb
for 3600 to 4k...can give u his email too cause with ur price and
shipping charge i have a buyer...again crickets im sure.....just sold
a unshopped afm last week on ebay for 3500 yes off route and
uuunnnshopped...want the link to prove it!!! sold a project cv not
wired for 3100 on ebay and a complete perfect player condition cv for
4100..this is all in the last few weeks...i think its u that are still
living in the past price ranges buddy

we were talking about going prices on ebay and craigslist and rgp for
the general public people thats buying them..not what someone like
urself picks them up for from a operator....u say i can get them at a
cheaper price...show me them!!i have three people looking to buy a
mb,gnr, and tz i dont want anything more than to set thm up no money
for me....if i had one for sale i would have sold them. i have them in
my personal collection not for sale. general public doesnt know
operators like u do so they go to rgp,craigslist and ebay...in my
first topic i stated that my prices were from these places and actual
finished sales not overpriced buy it nows that never finish. so ur
saying the prices u quoted for going rates on tz gnr mb cv are the
prices u pay when u get them? cause theres no way ur selling them for
what u get them. i sold a gnr with water damage floor cabinet that was
drooping for 2400 a few weeks back..and the other guy would have paid
2700 if i forgot about the orginial buyer, im sure thats something u
would have done

I don't know operators and usually don't buy from them. What about
the STTNG i picked up on ebay for 1600, plays 100% and plays great.
BOP for $700 on ebay. Funhouse for $1300, again on ebay. If you
wait it out, the deals land on here, ebay and mr.pinball. Just wait
and don't be in a rush. Those people have to do their own legwork.
It's not going to get force fed for you. If they have money to piss
away, then they call the easy route overpriced path such as people

You are both in different worlds. Neo is a deal hunter. I feel I'm
in the same category. We look for deals on games and then snap them
up. I have got certain games in my collection for ridiculously good
prices because I was willing to wait for the right one to walk along.
I knew I would pay a certain amount for it, and I would wait to get it
at that price.
The three flippers on here live in a world where clients want the
games when they want them. You have to stock the games to have them
on hand when someone wants one, so while you get some deals as they
come along, you also sell the games higher because the buyers want
that exact game at the moment they want it.
Ultimately, you are both right for the markets you are in. I have
seen a lot of the prices that Neo is talking about because I'm in the
same general market as him, and I have snatched up a bunch of them. I
paid just over $600 for my Whirlwind, but it was because the deal
basically fell into my lap. If I was looking to purchase a Whirlwind
and do it immediately, I would have expected to pay $1000-$1500. Now,
if I was asked what a fair price range was for a Whirlwind, if I said
$600 I'm certain people would tell me I was crazy, but if you wait for
it you can get it.
So everyone relax. Neo is right -- if you are willing to wait long
enough for the right deal on a CC to pop up, you can get them that
cheap. But the other guys are right too because if you want it TODAY,
there is no way in hell you can just pick one up that cheaply whenever.

apparently you know nothing about the restoration business. There
isn't a generic price for them, ever. Every field is individually
quoted based on pictures and the amount of work needed, and the level
of work requested. Some people restore games, that are way above and
beyond what the game is worth, only because they like that game. But
they know they will lose their ass when it comes time to sell it. Ask
anyone that restores a Wh2o. And my prices for restoration and
clearcoating are way below my competition and my turnaround time is
half or 3x's faster. So, no I don't gouge on my stuff, and never
have. Just because you do, doesn't mean everyone does.
