Cool, makes me wish I had a pinbot back. I never noticed there was text
"lock eyeballs when flashing" up there!

Actually, PF plastics are drawn and in line to be produced.

To this day I simply cannot believe Cyclone is still open. Goodness
sakes, how long has this one been on the open list? The artwork has
been done for a hella long time! At this point I'm hoping Kevin will
find enough requests that were stuck in the info@ email account :)

If we only knew how close it was. I'd buy one just to get the project
going.

I put my name on the Xenon list and was never contacted. I had to buy the
playfield from another collector. Doesn't seem to matter whether or not your
name goes on the list. >: (

What's up with that?

Yeah, I hear that. I especially cant believe the Lost Vegas is still
open. I waited for months until Jan. 1 to jump on the list. I
thought it would be an instant sell out.

The ones that got to purchase Xenon Playfields are the ones that
submitted pre-orders "first"...the sooner you get your pre-order in
the better your chances are of actually getting one. When CPR is
ready to ship product they go to the e-mail pre-order list - by date
received, and ask for payments...however, if your pre-order was way at
the bottom & they ran out of product then you would not have been
contacted.....

Cliffy;

That preorder is still open cause I haven't ordered the inserts yet,
once I get that order done it will be closed as I won't be able to
make any more than I have ordered inserts for.

Mike;

Sorry to hear you missed out. But the preorder list is really only a
contact list. You put your name on the list and you get first dibs
when they go up for sale. Well, maybe seconds dibs after the ArtTeam.
Lets say we have a preorder and I have enough parts to make 50 PFs. We
open the preorder and might get 70 names. This usually is not an issue
because so many drop out due to varying personal circumstances. If
you're first or high up on that list you'll get a crack at one. In the
lower sections of the list things get a little more dicey. We don't
take deposits and we try our best to make enough but it's a hard thing
to manage. Commit to making too many and the initial cost to purchase
the supplies can scupper a project.

Given a choice I'd like to have a preorder open for a few months and
then get a feel for and order the parts we need for that field. But
the cost of inserts etc make that hard to do. If we order inserts for
a bunch of PFs at once we can really get some good discounts. Ordering
a small number for a single PF can means we'll pay several times what
we'd pay ordering them all at once for several titles. But predicting
how many people want future PFs is difficult and because of the cost
and work to make them I'd rather err by making too few than too many.

With our limited resources there really is no other way to do it.

Thanks for the reply, Mike. So.... order the inserts already! :) Oh and

here. I learned that from Korn :)

I got a confirmation email that my request went to the corect inbox -
I guess that helps. Same for Cyclone (email) - I need them both as
they will be in the gameroom forever.
