I think both tests will be printed to clear film with display windows
cut out & applied dry to tempered glass. Same with translucent white &
blocking film. Wayne Gillard has bought a new Roland printer & I am
sure he will be thinking about using it for more than translites &
cabinet decals. New technology is moving ahead, silk screening is old
school in the modern world. Not my comments but those of experts in
the business of graphics.
My opinion is that silk screening is still a fine way of doing quality
pinball product. Same with playfield restorations using the color span
9840uv printer. Which was also trashed for low quality, compared to
modern high dpi printers. To those comments all I can say is my
printer is still willing to print glass & playfields. Not be worried
about destroying his $50,000 inkhead, which has happened by a number
of users.
