Got a Baywatch with some transformer wiring hacks.

I soldered, and shrink tubed back the wires the best that I could

I wanted to double check with you knowledgeable guys first, before I
flip the power switch. I'm scared my x-former will catch fire. Read
some old posts. Here the pictures of the jumpers I re-did. Does it
look OK? Is it right for 110V? Safe to flip the switch?

I've got a TZ about a month ago and I have the same problem, wires
hacked on the transformer.

I think that some previous owner re-wired it for a low-current setup,
probably to avoid resets during battle the power modes, etc.

I want to unhack it like you did, (color wires matching again, shrink
tubes, solder) but I'm afraid that I might fry the transformer or even
worst, damage the boards.

Right now TZ is playing fine with no resets, but voltage setup is
unknown. Here in Argentina it should be 220V, although if it was
hacked for low current I'm afraid the boards, GI lamps, and the game
is getting over-voltages.

Where can I find proper documentation to check correct wiring for
normal 220V current setup on a WPC transformer?

regards
Damian

Well, I found a WPC schematic PDF file with all the wiring details for
the WPC transformer. (including 110v, 206v, 230v, etc) :)

Check here: http://www.esnips.com/doc/046cec49-c114-49bf-bd08-6af1edde728d/Williams_WPC-89

I hope it helps, regards

Damian
