Here's the question I sent him (pulled and slightly modified from the
usaul Nigeria scam letters):

If I win, the funds would be deposited with a Finance and
Security House and insured in your name. Due to the mix up of
some numbers and names, we ask that you keep this payment
strictly from public notice until your payment has been
processed and your money remitted to your account. This is part
of our security protocol to avoid double payments. We hope
with a part of your payment, you will participate in our end of
year mega/ high stakes US$1.3 billion International lotto. To
begin your payment, would it be ok if you contact the payment
officer immediately? He's at:
BARRISTER RITA BAKER(MRS)@aol.com

Thankyou and God bless

Just check this seller's feedback. If that's not the most bizarre I've
ever seen then I'll buy this scam myself.

Yeah I thought that was bizarre also, but then someone pointed out it
could be chinese characters that aren't being displayed through ebay.
Also, if you look at the feedbacks of people who have won his auctions
you see the same question marks on their feedbacks also. This is either
a major scam, or ebay won't display the characters.

Chas

I vote for a scam.

All his feedback.... seller or buyer are like 1.00 - 2.00 items lol.
The only was to find out for sure is have a friend/someone to go look
at the game.

I asked the seller a question earlier;

Saw on the news where there was an earthquake 40km north of jiangxi 10
days ago. Was the machine damaged from this? Was your house damaged?
Thanks, Cosmo Kramer

Answer I received;

haha.the earthquake is very little in my place.it is all very
nice.don't worry about.good!!

Of course I didn't know of any earthquake there.

As it happens, I am in Hong Kong next week and need to go to Guanzhou
in China. Hong Kong and Guanzhou are just an hour and a bit flight
away from Jiangxi, where the machine is located and the flights are
pretty cheap (US$100). I asked if I could come and pay cash next
Monday and see the machine packed and shipped out. I also asked for a
pic of the machine with a current Chinese newspaper on it (I have lots
of Chinese friends, so translation is not a problem). If he sends the
pic before the auction expires and agrees for me to pay cash, then he
gets my bid. I am hoping that he is a genuine seller, as it would be
nice to add a MM to my collection. If he is genuine, I am sure he will
agree to my request.

I didn't bid - he didn't send what I asked for.
