1. Download the following five zipped files into a temporary folder: (a)
Visual Pinball main program, now on version 6.2 Beta
(b) VPinMAME File for emulating modern solid state games.
(c) VBS Scripts
(d) PinMAME Samples
(e) Fonts
2. Unzip and install Visual Pinball. It will probably install under your
Program Files folder.
3. Make a new folder called VPinMAME. You will now have a folder called
C:/VPinMAME
4. Unzip the VPinMAME file into this folder. If it does not create it,
then create these sub-folders in the VPinMAME folder: C:/VPinMAME/cfg,
C:/VPinMAME/nvram, C:/VPinMAME/roms, C:/VPinMAME/samples,
C:/VPinMAME/Tables, C:/VPinMAME/VPinMAMETest.
5. Unzip the Script file into the Tables sub-folder above. Note, the
Visual Pinball folder has a Tables subfolder. Do not put the scripts there.
Put them in the Tables subfolder under VPinMAME file.
6. Move the zipped Samples file in your temporary folder to the VPinMAME
samples subfolder. DO NOT unzip this file.
7. Unzip the fonts file and place the new fonts into C:/windows/fonts
folder.
8. Your system should now be set up to run both Visual Pinball and the
PinMAME emulations. Now it is time to download the games you want.
9. If you are downloading tables that are "real" tables that are
electronic, then you need to dowload the table and the roms. Here is the
best site for getting both of those:
http://www.vpforums.com/vptables/tables.php
10. UNZIP the table files and put them in the C:/Program Files/Visual
Pinball/Tables. Put any *.nv files in the C:/PinMAME/nvram folder.
11. Put the rom files in the C:/PinMAME/roms folder. DO NOT unzip the rom
files.
12. You should then be able to load and play the games.
13. Note that some of the original tables created by users require other
"helper" files. Most tables that do not use VPinMAME can be run without any
addtional files.
Hope this helps.

PS. The Cactus Canyon file is very well done.
