Ok so you all know how I got it working yesterday.......but now for
some reason it quit doing the match thing at the end of each game.
Perhaps its a setting I messed with but I've been thru the settings
and the book several times and I dont see anything that would actually
turn it off. I've got the percentage set at 8%. I did turn the buy
in off as that always drives me nuts, I even tried putting it back on
to see if it would help the match thing and it didn't so I left the
buy in off. So how do I get the match numbers at the end of each
game ?

Thanks,

I have a Pool Sharks that matches every time after a move to my
daughters house. Reset the match to 13% that had no effect .

I dont think its how high the setting percentage is , its the fact
that it wont even do the match thing at the end of the game, it just
goes right into game over.

I would think there is a setting to turn the match feature on or off
as most games do have it. If you went through the manual and can't
find it then maybe not on this game, but I know I've missed things in
the manual because sometime the layout is stupid, and obvious things
are difficult to find or even left out completely. Look over the
manual again or perhaps another owner can help with this one...

I think the setting for turning it off is the same one that you use to
set the percentages. 0=off and 1-10%= on. ??

That makes sense, especially if you don't see any other on off info
for that feature. So after a game there's supposed to be some kind of
match animation that's just not happening?

I thought this game was basically the same as D&D as far as the
settings go. According to the D&D manual there are only 2 options for
match 0=off and 1=on no percentage adjustment. Could if be that you're
setting it higher than 1 and this is basically disabling the match or
is BW100 different in this respect?

Yes there should be a match animation and it had been working fine but
then it seems like it just quit doing its thing at the end of the
games and went right into game over. The percentage had been set to
10% so I just left it there but I'll try the one percent thing.

Nope , setting it to 1% did'nt change anything. I cant believe this
is going to be this difficult.

Ok turning the Buy in off by setting it to Zero will also disable the
Match, is there any way around that?

Man, that is a pain. Can't see why it would do this... is it set on
freeplay? Could that disable the match?
Just thinking aloud here, hope you figure this one out. I'm surprised
some BW100 owner hasn't chimed in yet...

I could have sworn the match still worked a few days ago when I had
disabled the buy in's. Hhmmm...?
Anyone?

Ours is set on Free Play and does not have the match feature occur.

Yeah, that's why I have some of my games on coin play. A lot of games
you get no match, and no knocker either, on freeplay, which is
something I can't live without. Gotta have that knock!

Yes I just checked and taking the game off free play will enable the
match sequence again. Guess I need to get to work by putting a
stacked switch on the start button to add a credit in order to see the
match at the end of the game. Problem solved. Thanks again everyone
and especially you Tom. Now I gotta get to work on it.

You're welcome, just bouncing some ideas back and forth does the trick
sometimes...

Glad it's working, I like match routines, and the match knock also,
the stacked switch idea is a good one, I like that better than the
coin return button rig, that one works too, but then you always find
yourself having to explain it to people when they can't start a game.

Have a great weekend, were getting socked with some heavy snow here in
chicago. I'll see if I can trigger a diverter to send it away from you
guys there in Michigan!

Ok I got the stacked switch put in and it works great. It adds a
credit and starts the game too. The cool thing about it is when you
go to put in your three initials for the high score it makes a sound
for each time the credit button is pushed for each letter, which it
did'nt do that before, so thats kinda neat. Yeah this game is getting
to be kinda fun when everything works like it should, I still need to
tweak some other things on the field but it looks like its a keeper at
this point. Thanks again !!

probably makes a sound for each letter because it's also adding a
credit I would think but if it doesn't interfere with the initial
entering then should be no problem and it's kinda nice to hear the
sound when you enter the letters. You sure made quick work of adding
that stacked switch to solve the coin up issue but I know you don't
mess around!

I like Breakshot a lot by the way, nice addition for sure!

Yes Tom thats exactly why it does make the sound. I've been all thru
the game settings and diagnostics since I added the stacked switch and
everything is working just fine with no problems. I just finished
eating some pizza and watching Cool Hand Luke so now its time to get
back to pinball and get the other minor problems taken care of.

Eating Pizza and watching Cool hand Luke? ... yes Virginia there is a
Santa Clause!

Doesn't get any better that that!
