What's different between Demo Man H5/H6 and L4 Game Roms?

version history up to L4, but neither H5 or H6 contain any version
history to summarize the changes compared to the L4 ROM. I know that
H6 is the profanity ROM and I assume that H5 and H6 are identical with
the exception of the Profanity. I did a few searches at other sites
and I haven't been able to find any version history details for the
home roms.
Does anyone know what's different with the H5/H6 roms compared to the
L4 rom?
Also..I definitely need to upgrade my roms and I was considering
grabbing the profanity roms out of curiosity. However, is there a
feature to disable the profanity in the system menu like you can do on
the Stern pins or is it all or nothing?

Therefore, no revision info. They were very limited distribution until a
couple years ago.
The rules aren't any different over the LX4 game ROM, just has the profane
audio. Both H-5 and H-6 enable profane audio.
Yes, it can be turned on and off in the adjustments. And IIRC, it's free
play only, so you can't play for coins.
And the swearing in these is a real doozie - not like MM or T2.

Yes, not for the faint of ears...it also gets old quick to the point

If H5 and H6 are the same as L4, then why are there two home rom
versions? It appears that both versions enable the profanity, so why
are there two home rom releases? There has to be a difference between
H5 and H6. I read in another post that H6 included the later lamp
matrix code that helped with LED leakage. Does H5 have the newer lamp
code as well?

that. I do not have a dininitive list. If you have a DM available to you,
perhaps you could try them both and compose a list to share.
History has shown that updated ROM revisions don't always make major
differences in a game, sometimes they fix something minor like spelling in a
non-English language, or a coinage setting etc.

why I'm looking for answers. I want to make sure I get the right one.
I will be glad to try them both and report the differences if someone
sends me an extra set to test :) I will buy the H5 or H6 version and
someone can send me the other version for comparison purposes ;)

The game play is exactly the same in H5 and H6.
The difference is in the flipper codes. H5 has all
the flipper codes still enabled. H6 does not. So
if you don't know the flipper codes, it really doesn't
matter anyway.
